The Republic of Zimbabwe through the Ministry for Information Communication Technology, Postal and Courier Services will -host the Southern Africa Regional Workshop on Data Governance in the Digital Age responsible for Data Policy Harmonization in SADC Member States from the 12th of August to the 14th of August 2026. The conference will run in Harare.
Venue
The Conference will be held at the Harare International Conference Centre (HICC), Rainbow Tours in Harare. The HICC is located at 1 Pennefather Avenue, in the heart of Harare.
THE INTERNATIONAL SOLAR ALLIANCE'S EIGHTH REGIONAL COMMITTEE MEETING FOR AFRICA, AUGUST 25–27, 2026
The Republic of Zimbabwe through the Ministry of Energy and Power Development, will host the International Solar Alliance’s (ISA) 8th Regional Committee meeting for Africa, scheduled to take place in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe, from August 25–27, 2026. Government representatives, energy specialists, and development partners from all over Africa will convene at the conference to assess the state of solar energy deployment and map out a course for further investment in renewable energy on the continent. The meeting’s main objectives will be to accelerate access to renewable energy, especially in underserved rural areas, promote regional collaboration, and mobilize funding for solar projects.
Venue
The International Solar Alliance’s (ISA) 8th Regional Committee meeting for Africa will be held at the Elephant Hills Hotel in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe from 25-27 August 2026.
